April 24, 2025 will mark the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The Genocide Education Project (“GenEd”) is launching a series of free, 90-minute webinars from October 2024 to March 2025 to enable teachers to incorporate this essential topic into their coursework, as recommended in several states’ social studies curriculum standards.
Each webinar will guide how to define and teach about genocide. They’ll also focus on the historical background and specific and comparative aspects of the Armenian case and offer free teaching resources with recommendations on how to use them in the classroom.
